Course selection

Hi everyone it's Allison! As a freshman, I loved the idea that I could pick my courses for next year. In middle school I didn't have that option and I think its so cool that I can pick the courses that I like and would like to be in.
I hear that the freshman Lock In is coming up. I remember when I was at my Freshman Lock In. It was so much fun! I met so many new people, and most of them are in my classes. The Lock In had so many fun games and ice breakers that no one felt left out. Most of my friends are people I met during the lock in. Well that's all for now. Talk to you soon!!

Meet Allison

Hi everyone, I’m Allison! I’m a freshman this year at UC, and so far I love it. I enjoy playing volleyball and running track (Spring Track tryouts are already March 4th! I’m so excited.) I love to cook and spend time with family and friends. I’m already involved in some U.C. clubs such as SMAC and Forensics. There have also been tons of UC activities, such as, the Welcome Back Dance, Semi- formal, and Freshman Field Day. I’ve enjoyed them all so much. I’ve made so many new friends and I love all my teachers. I favorite class so far is probably World Studies. I have Mrs. Leegan and she always finds creative ways to make the class fun and interesting. I think the most challenging class for me is biology. I do find it interesting but also a challenge. Well, guys, I have to go! I'll talk to you soon!!!

Allison
Hello, my name is Daniel Sheldon and I am a freshman at Union Catholic Regional High School. Being a freshman and in Honors and Accelerated programs I have learned that it has been a lot of hard work and a lot of fun. I also participate in the Young Politicians Club, Irish Vikings Club, Environmental Club and the school's baseball program. It is hard to put into words how much fun that I have had Union Catholic during my freshman year. I love Union Catholic for many reasons. One reason why I love Union Catholic so much is that it is like one big family. It is full of very nice and generous students and teachers. The other students are always willing to help direct you to a class or answer any sort of questions that you may have. The teachers will always help you succeed in life and in school. They are dedicated to all of their students and will do anything to help. Ever since I came here for Freshman for a day in eighth grade I have felt very comfortable and knew that this was the right school for me. Entering High School can be exciting and a little scary, but by going to the acceptance dance, lock-in and Freshman BBQ I was able to meet some new friends. Being an active part of the UC activities such as the clubs, sports, and dances and honor roll help me experience it all. I am very proud to be a part of the Union Catholic community. I do not regret my decision to applying and being admitted to this amazing, diverse, and unique school. I have absolutely loved my time here! And I know for sure, that I am not the only one who feels that way.
